Come to further develop yourself, create new artwork, and meet others. As a member, all the facilities are at your disposal. You can also get introduced to ceramics by participating in one of our courses.
We offer tools, a workbench, clay, glazes, and a professional kiln for firing your work. Additionally, members are provided with a shelf for their projects and a box for their own clay storage. You can purchase and book your time slots through our reservation system. Firing costs and clay are calculated separately.
A workshop assistant is always present, but please note that they are not instructors. The only requirement to use the shared studio is a basic knowledge of ceramics. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced artist, simply bring your apron and towel, and you're ready to create!

You can sign up through the 'login' option in the menu. This will grant you access to the calendar, allowing you to reserve your spot in the shared studio.
After signing up for the shared space, you will receive login credentials for the reservation system. You can immediately book a workspace in the garage. For a quick overview of available spots and events, you can check the calendar. In addition to a workspace for 4 hours behind a pottery wheel, we also offer glazing sessions. These are 2-hour blocks. You can make a reservation using the orange button below.
During the Basic Course From Clay to Bisque, you will learn the fundamentals of working with clay on a pottery wheel over 5 lessons.
Our enthusiastic instructor, Mow, will guide you through each lesson, teaching you all the essential techniques required to start your journey in the world of ceramics. After these 5 lessons, you will have a solid foundation in pottery using a pottery wheel, and you will have the skills to work independently in our studio. The best pieces you've created with us will be bisque-fired for you. The course fee is €255.

In the follow-up course you will further enhance your ceramic skills and learn new techniques in each lesson.
Throughout the course, you will refine your wheel-throwing abilities and explore new techniques, all instructed by our teacher, Mow. This time, you will also glaze your own work, which we will then fire for you. The course is designed for students with basic knowledge who are not yet advanced. The course fee is €315.

Maud studied Graphic Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and runs her own design studio with a colleague. This studio is next to Keramiek Garage.
Carlijn studied Fashion Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. She works as a costume designer and teaches fashion at the MBO (Intermediate Vocational Education).
Sanne said goodbye to Keramiek Garage in August 2024.
They gained their ceramic experience through courses in and around Rotterdam. They personally renovated the old garage on Diergaardesingel and transformed it into a beautiful space for sharing knowledge and experiences about ceramics.
